David and Gregg are a pair of struggling actors living together. While Gregg is boorish and lazy, content to spend his days in pyjamas, David takes his audition preparation seriously. Too seriously. When the role of The Spaceman comes along, the boys use an old method acting VHS to prepare for the role. But there’s something about the Acting Coach. Soon, David begins to lose his grip on reality. Elaborate drawings and writing litter his bedroom walls. Black ink spewing from his and Gregg’s food. The question is, after the Acting Coach’s three steps are complete, how much of David will be left?
